PEKEBUN DAN POKOK BUAH

Kisah dari Dusun.... Pekebun dan Pokok Buah

Ada seorang pekebun yang begitu komited menjaga pokok buah-buahan di dusunnya. Setiap hari beliau turun ke dusun untuk memotong rumput lalang dan membajai pokok buah-buahan tersebut. Oleh kerana beliau begitu prihatin, pokok buah yang sudah matang pula sentiasa menghasilkan buah yang enak dan berkualiti. Hal ini sangat menyenangkan hati pekebun tersebut.

Pada suatu hari, angin kuat disertai hujan lebat melanda perkampungan pekebun tersebut sehingga mengakibatkan sebahagian pokok buah di dusun pekebun itu tumbang.

Pekebun merasa susah hati tatkala melihat kerosakan hebat yang berlaku di dusunnya. Pokok buah yang asalnya tumbuh subur mulai mati. Daun-daun yang suatu masa menghijau mulai layu dan kering.  Namun, oleh kerana sifat komitmen dan tidak mudah berputus asa, pekebun tersebut terus merawat pokok buah yang tumbang dengan memastikan akarnya menyentuh tanah dan menanam semula pokok buah yang telah mati.

Selang beberapa waktu, pekebun tersebut melihat pokok buah yang tumbang itu mulai menumbuhkan cabang baru. Daun yang telah layu dan kering diganti pulai daun yang lebih hijau, muda dan segar. Bagitu pula pokok yang ditanam semula mulai bertumbuh dan mengeluarkan tunas baru. Pemandangan ini sangat menyenangkan hati si pekebun....

Sama seperti pekebun yang prihatin ini, begitulah halnya dengan Tuhan, selalu menjaga dan tidak pernah berputus asa memberikan kekuatan serta menumbuhkan semangat baru dalam diri kita. Tuhan selalu memastikan akar Iman kita tetap berpaut dan merambat hati Tuhan agar kita tetap semangat menjalani hidup dan tidak mati Iman. Maka, janganlah takut dan putus harapan apabila kita berhadapan dengan cabaran dan pergumulan berat..kerana Tuhan ADA, sentiasa KOMITED, dan SIAP menolong kita...Tuhan selalu mahu kita berada dalam pemeliharaannya agar kita sentiasa bertumbuh di dalam Dia.

MAZMUR 23:1-6:

 TUHAN  adalah gembalaku , takkan kekurangan aku  . 23:2 Ia membaringkan aku  di padang yang berumput hijau, Ia membimbing aku ke air  yang tenang; 23:3  Ia menyegarkan jiwaku.  Ia menuntun  aku di jalan yang benar   oleh karena nama-Nya.  23:4 Sekalipun aku berjalan dalam lembah kekelaman,   aku tidak takut bahaya,   sebab Engkau besertaku   gada-Mu dan tongkat-Mu, itulah yang menghibur aku. 23:5 Engkau menyediakan hidangan   bagiku, di hadapan lawanku; Engkau mengurapi kepalaku dengan minyak;   pialaku  penuh melimpah. 23:6 Kebajikan dan kemurahan   belaka  akan mengikuti aku, seumur hidupku; dan aku akan diam dalam rumah TUHAN sepanjang masa. About months ago, I 'coincidentally' making friends with someone over breakfast before a Sunday service at a church..after a warmth chat, I learned that she's a lecturer that supervising masters students..we exchanged contact details like new friends always do where she left a message saying,'call me anytime you need assistance in your thesis.'...Few months passed where life walks amazingly challenging yet beautiful, that meeting was for me just another wonderful chapter in my life's diary.. But, I forgot something about being a Princess of the Most High God that nothing is known as 'coincidentally' for everything works for the good of His beloved (Romans 8:28)..Recently I'm quite stress about my thesis where when I came to my DADDY with worries and brokenness, He reminds me again about that meeting saying, 'call her.' Being in my stress, I have no other choice but to obey when at the other end of the phone, I heard that precious friend said, 'I've been thinking about you recently Elia, when I'm worshiping in church! How's everything with you?'..the conversation went on where we finally arranged another meeting for the thesis. Comfort knowing I have someone helping, I smile with hope and joy again! ..Then, with deep compassion and peace, my DADDY smile at me and said,' AM I NOT BRILLIANT? AM I NOT GOD? AM I NOT LOVE YOU? I AM YOUR SOLUTION BEFORE YOUR PROBLEMS AND ARRANGE EVERYTHING FOR YOUR GOOD..I LOVE YOU ELIA..I REALLY DO AND I LOVE YOU CRAZILY..ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT.' 

Church: Watch out on 'WATCHDOG'

Familiar with the word 'Watchdog'???....Who is a Watchdog????...and what’s wrong with Watchdog??...

In general, It's a word that defined the individual or a person who used to monitor other actions in society/community (good or bad) and criticize them if they failed to follow or breaking the rules that has been set up for the society (in general) and community (specifically).

Well, from that explanation, I assumed that you already have a big picture on what I wish to discuss here.......

And, Let start with a simple questions (to be answered by our self), have you met with a 'Watchdog' among churches recently???.......

Are we're among other Watchdog in Christian community where we serve Christ?.....

Do we realize that, in spite of urging us to be a perfect Christian, Watchdog roles in Christian community today has drag us far from realizing on how precious we're in the eyes of God, how God love us as individual and the worst things is that....it make us feel how bad we're if we failed to meet 'their' expectation.

My dear friends, Watchdog roles has existed since Christ was here in flesh more than 2000 years ago. They were existed in forms of the Pharisees. Correct me if I'm wrong, in my research, the Pharisees were the group of people or means someone that 'clarifying" things and described as LAW experts/observer.

The Christ himself used to lambast and warned them, for questioning and judging Him as wrote in Mark 2:15-17;

15 While Jesus was having dinner at Levi’s house, many tax collectors and sinners were eating with him and his disciples, for there were many who followed him. 16 When the teachers of the law who were Pharisees saw him eating with the sinners and tax collectors, they asked his disciples: “Why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners?”

17 On hearing this, Jesus said to them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

Again in Luke 20:45-47;

Warning Against the Teachers of the Law

45 While all the people were listening, Jesus said to his disciples, 46 “Beware of the teachers of the law. They like to walk around in flowing robes and love to be greeted with respect in the marketplaces and have the most important seats in the synagogues and the places of honor at banquets. 47 They devour widows’ houses and for a show make lengthy prayers. These men will be punished most severely.”

 Sadly, my dear friends, the teacher of law or Pharisees in our Christian community today existed in form of a 'Watchdog'.

A Watchdog, who's not just remind us to change but to be perfect! Not in God way, but in their WAY!.....

 A Watchdog, who's used to correct us not through God words, but their words!

 A Watchdog, whose demand us to follow church rules, not God!

 A Watchdog, who's judge us when we worshiping God in our own way, not their way!

 A Watchdog, who's let us experience REJECTION, the moment they realize we failed to meet their EXPECTATION!

A Watchdog, who's put us in a dilemma of being accepted among Christian community and become hypocrite to satisfied our church members or to be our self as We ARE in the eyes of God!.

and, the worst thing is, A Watchdog that discouraged our faith until we failed to realize the power of our intimacies and personal relationship with God as the most important element that would open our eyes to see how God love us, to know His perfect plan for us and many things we should discover personally with God!.

Don't be offended as you read this article, I don't mean to lambasted our Christian community for producing a Watchdog....It's a God, who want us to be aware of 'Watchdog' roles in the Christian environment where we live now as He realize that the 'Diseases' brought by 'Watchdog' has a potential to destroy Christ body in today world!.

Once again I ask you...Have you met one of the Watchdog?....I do my friends until I see the crucial need of writing this article, so that you and I would aware of it existence and together we can change it to become something that  we can utilize to save many souls and something that would glorify our Lord.

Last but not least, Watchdog....is not a bad thing if we know how to handle it. However, prior to our attitudes, by underestimate the impact of 'Watchdog' roles among churches has led to disappointment and many of Christians excluded themselves from Christian community and become unbeliever!.

My dear friends, let us think and address this problem in our prayer together...lets us become an individual that love and accept each other the way God want us to be. So that, we can personally experience God love, grace and blessing in our life.

Heavenly Welcome!

Let's enter and rejoice in God presence with proud and honor. No gold, diamond or precious things in this world would able to pay what Christ did for us. Knowing that, we have been set free by the blood of Christ, we shouldn't enjoy and experience the blessings and love of God by our self.


16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16)

Note that, there's soul out there who are lost and need us to point their direction to God!

10 In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents. (Luke 15:10)

I'm sure that, as Christian we have been called to be part in Christ ministry while we're living this world, and yet we believed that God sent us where ever we're now for a great purpose, the great PURPOSE that only revealed to you and me because we're are part of Christ body and his ministry! 

My dear friends, the world that we've now is so challenging, yet so beautiful to drag us far from God love. correct me if I'm wrong, that our faith have been tested and challenged by anti-Christ elements (not to elaborate more on this, for I'm aware of/believed that you also read and experience or even directly overheard of some Christ unbeliever questioning your faith).

What I see is that, it's crucial for us to unite and together be strong in our faith, not for tomorrow, but for TODAY! or else, we would witness more and more Christ body torn apart and lost in despair.

So, my dear friend, It's very clear here..., that the purpose of this blog is to serve you and me.Yes, You and me! because no matter strong we're, no matter perfect we're, no matter faithful we're...we still need each other to strengthen, to loved, to watch, to care and to POINT OUR DIRECTION AND FIX OUR EYES ON JESUS!

Hence, my dear friends..., please never hesitate, and never afraid of being alone when you're separated from Christ community. Let's unite with us in our fellowship, for we're with humble heart render our hands to comfort you and lend our ears to listen to your heart cries, to be friend and partner in Christ movement.

12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. (John 15:12)

13 But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’[a] For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” (Matthew 9:13)
